Nicole and James are getting married in August! They wanted engagement photos taken in downtown Portland, Oregon and the weather was beautiful.

Well, it’s been a rainy May here in Portland, Oregon and at OneBloom Photography we’ve still been busy! For this family portrait photography session, the client wanted a rainy day – and that is exactly what was delivered. We got soaked – and we also got some great shots! It’s a little more of a challenge to shoot in the rain but it was well worth the extra effort! The session started at the Sellwood Bridge Park in Portland, OR and moved onto downtown Portland. The entire session was a ton of fun and only lasted two hours! Talk about a lot of great shots and interesting locations!

Personally, I love the photos and I’m so happy the sun even came out! But, I can’t wait for some nice sunny weather to head our direction! Book your family photography session now!

The Bride, Holly in the hotel elevator!

Classy. That’s the best way to describe Tony and Holly’s amazingly beautiful wedding here in Portland, Oregon at the Aquariva Hotel and Spa next to the Willamette River on October 3rd, 2009.

Tony and Holly got ready in the beautiful hotel suite and then moved outside to meet with friends and family, just as we were starting to snap some amazing photos – the rain started! They decided to go ahead and begin the small, private wedding ceremony overlooking the river when the rain stopped! As the clouds gave way to sun, we started quickly shooting again and got amazing images from around the area!

The reception inside the Aquariva lounge was equally as beautiful and elegant. Soon, everyone was dancing the night away celebrating the newlyweds!

Their dog wanted in on the 1st look too!

Wow! What a wedding! Set on the Oregon coast near Seaside, Oregon in Gearhart, Oregon – Calvin and Sheelah got married as the sunset on the West Coast on 9/19/09.

The weather called for rain for the day – but a miracle happened and the day was simply perfect. A huge celebration after the ceromony began with a lot of great food and drinks! Beautifully made decorations with candle light and Christmas lights surrounded the area as everyone celebrated with Calvin and Sheelah; soaking in one of the last great remaining nights of an amazing Northwest summer!

It was a perfect summer day for a wedding at the Anderson Lodge in Aerial, Washington. The sky clear, the temperature perfect, the setting beautiful and everyone happy. The day started out with some amazing shooting with the guys and then some great photography with the girls. Then onto the ceremony with the beautiful background of the mountains behind the saying of the vows. Then, as the sun was going down it was time for some great food and awesome music…checkout the sweet dance moves!
