These beautiful pieces of artwork are part of the ‘Art of the Amercian Soldier’ exhibit that showcases paintings and sketches in the line of duty. The exhibit holds over 15,000 pieces from 1,300 soldiers. These pieces were previously never-before-seen by the public.

The showing is currently on display in Philadelphia. Starts September 24th, 2010 and runs to January 10, 2011.

I personally hope that the show will make it’s way to Portland, Oregon or Seattle, Washington where we at OneBloom will get a chance to look at all of this amazing piece of unseen history. We love inspiration.
