Every year we love to watch the fireworks. Just a little peak at what was at the Fort Vancouver Firework Display in Vancouver, Washington. This year was different, after not having fireworks set off in 2009 due to the budget – the show was somewhat scaled back from prior years. Only a 20 odd minute show and they were lit off of the runway of the Historical Pearson Airfield.We had a pass to go down the the airport to see the show!

Can’t wait until next year…

Bellingham, Washington – Lake Padden

I was the 1st person to the lake. Around 5:00 a.m.
It was incredible to watch the all the bats flying around on the water. There were probably 50 or so bats where I was. I watched an owl glide over the lake – as fish jumped in the water.

It was a beautiful morning and it looks like it’s going to be another beautiful summer day!

It’s nice to be a photographer – - and to be able to do many different things.

I also just photographed Dan and Karen’s Wedding on March 31st! Congratulations to them both! Everything went great and it was a pleasure to be there!
