Sunrise in Bellingham, Washington.
I decided to get up early and shoot the sunrise this morning. I think it is one of the first sunrise shots I have ever done.
Usually I’m more of a sunset person – but after this morning I might have to change that!

Bellingham, Washington – Lake Padden
I was the 1st person to the lake. Around 5:00 a.m.
It was incredible to watch the all the bats flying around on the water. There were probably 50 or so bats where I was. I watched an owl glide over the lake – as fish jumped in the water.
It was a beautiful morning and it looks like it’s going to be another beautiful summer day!
It’s nice to be a photographer – - and to be able to do many different things.

Lovely! I love the Bellingham area! I am a photographer just south of you – I have enjoyed looking at your images. Keep up the great work!
