The Stuart Family needed some great photos to remember their new family by! It was the perfect day to be outside in the park in Vancouver, WA for some family photos. We spent an hour walking around and getting a lot of great photographs of their family and watching their baby play! What a great day in the sun for their family portraits!

Classy. That’s the best way to describe Tony and Holly’s amazingly beautiful wedding here in Portland, Oregon at the Aquariva Hotel and Spa next to the Willamette River on October 3rd, 2009.

Tony and Holly got ready in the beautiful hotel suite and then moved outside to meet with friends and family, just as we were starting to snap some amazing photos – the rain started! They decided to go ahead and begin the small, private wedding ceremony overlooking the river when the rain stopped! As the clouds gave way to sun, we started quickly shooting again and got amazing images from around the area!

The reception inside the Aquariva lounge was equally as beautiful and elegant. Soon, everyone was dancing the night away celebrating the newlyweds!

Wow! What a wedding! Set on the Oregon coast near Seaside, Oregon in Gearhart, Oregon – Calvin and Sheelah got married as the sunset on the West Coast on 9/19/09.

The weather called for rain for the day – but a miracle happened and the day was simply perfect. A huge celebration after the ceromony began with a lot of great food and drinks! Beautifully made decorations with candle light and Christmas lights surrounded the area as everyone celebrated with Calvin and Sheelah; soaking in one of the last great remaining nights of an amazing Northwest summer!

It was a perfect summer day for a wedding at the Anderson Lodge in Aerial, Washington. The sky clear, the temperature perfect, the setting beautiful and everyone happy. The day started out with some amazing shooting with the guys and then some great photography with the girls. Then onto the ceremony with the beautiful background of the mountains behind the saying of the vows. Then, as the sun was going down it was time for some great food and awesome music…checkout the sweet dance moves!

Adam and Erin’s Wedding on August 8th, 2009 in Rochester,Washington.

On August 8th, 2009 Ginger and Jeff tied the knot.

It was a wonderful day for a wedding in Portland, Oregon at the Rock Creek Country Club. Overcast, no rain, not too hot not too cool! My day started with taking some getting ready photos and progressed into the wedding ceremony and then onto family pictures and the reception.Once we had the time, I took Jeff and Ginger away and got a few great images of them as a married couple for the first time.

On August 1st, 2009 Brianna and Edward got hitched!

It was a pretty hot day at 95 degrees here in Vancouver, Washington.

The day began at The Club Restaurant at the Vancouver Historic Reserve. The wedding ceremony took place at the gazebo off of Officers Row. Shortly after some photos, it was off to the Red Cross Building for the reception! Everything went great and I had a great time being the wedding photographer!

Feel like this is the hottest day you have ever been in?

If your a longtime resident of the Portland/Vancouver area – it is! 107.2 in Vancouver – depending on where you look! Up to 111 in some areas!

Now, here at OneBloom Photography – we don’t usually comment on such things like ‘the weather’ – but this is just so huge and it’s so hot and it’s not cooling down anytime soon!

Best of luck to my fellow wedding photographers this weekend as we brave the heat! Lets hope that the rest of the wedding season isn’t as hot!
